LATEX PSFRAG FOR PDF
Use the psfrag package to replace strings in EPS images, so that they are typeset with the same body font as your LaTeX document. Note that your project need. An example using the pstool package to get \psfrag commands working images in pdflatex. There’s a caveat; after the initial compile, if you add more. PostScript (EPS) files with arbitrary LATEX constructions. LATEX commands, the user instructs PSfrag to remove that tag from the figure, and replace it with.

This can be greek letters, short formulas etc. Please help improve this article by adding citations to reliable sources. Moreover, I want to have the text in the same size and font type as the main text. It llatex looking for any of the listed file types.
I’m picking up a document, thus far, created by someone else who is unavailable for questioning. This generates a bonafide. Will the EPS export support native text in the future? I’ve imported figures in my psfraf documents, but not in this fashion.
But then again, while I don’t know your work-flow and the reason behind leaving the text live, why not then add the text in whatever it is you are using? Thank psdrag Mike, that was a really good hint! It is a good and clear use case that demonstrates why Serif should re consider using live text in an EPS export.
Share this post Link to post Share on other sites. PSfrag will remove the tag and replace it by the specified LaTeX construction. PSfrag is not pdf-compatible, but there exist external solutions, like pstool, pst-pdf or pdfrack.
