I unfortunately would not recommend this book. Este tambien fue maravilloso It all starts when Penn leaves Harper a note on her desk saying he liked her sparkle she wore on her hair for school that day. I really thought this book could have been better.
The relationship between she and Issac is one-sided and lacked chemistry and I kept wondering what he saw in her? Isaac is supposed to be th Well, I’m kind of It’s always like this every time i read a Barnholdt book.
I was hoping Barnholdt would be a substitute for Elizabeth Scott to me in the Chick lit department but if all her books are like this, I think I might pass. I don’t know why I even bothered. The beginning is confusing and dual perspectives isn’t properly done, but I didn’t feel overly kissong while reading this one.
So what does he do? Sep 03, Shxrxn added it. Back and forth points of view barnho,dt hilarious, pitch perfect transitions. Gone is any mention of or preparation for her upcoming audition at Ballard. What a fantastic narrator to follow around, someone with absolutely no redeeming qualities.

Kissing Perfect (At the Party, #4) by Lauren Barnholdt
The one thing this story did try to stress is that it’s always better to tell the truth because no matter how hard you try to hide it, the truth always comes out, always. This kissig one of the funniest and most romantic YA reads ever. Kissing Perfect was on a similar note as Falling Hard but I didn’t like it. On top of that, their voices felt strained, and I kept weirdly perfecr between thinking “this is exactly the type of writing style I would use in my high school creative writing assignments” although obviously Lauren Barnholdt is much better at it than I ever was at fifteen and “this is what an adult thinks teenagers talk and think like, except they don’t at all.
I get that she got her heart broken though she wouldn’t have gotten over is so fast is that was really the truthbut why get all emotional with no reason and lie about losing your virginity? I was quite entertained while reading this novel and I didn’t want to put it down! At the Party 4. That was one of the things the entire story was built around.
This book was sent to me for review from Simon and Schuster.
I can see the romance annoying some people, because it’s very on and off, black and white and gray, there and not. I received this ARC for free in exchange for an honest review. I would not go as far to that it was a waste of my time or anything remotely close to that, but it could have been so b better because I really saw potential at the start of the book.
He was pretty irresistible. She gets a note in class from Penn, the ex-baseball star turned bad boy with the heart-melting smile and their love story takes off.
After the other 3 books, it was just cute, funny, and random. I can tell that Barnholdt tried, but I just couldn’t connect with either characters, no matter how much I wanted to. They hang out, and then they ignore each other. I already know I will not be able to do this book justice. This is how it ends. It was a complicated relationship, and the fact that Penn was hot and cold time and time again didn’t help either.
Apr 18, Gisbelle rated it really liked it Shelves: Lists with This Book. Barnholdt would extend another chapter to close all the conflicts that she opened which will help me get over this novel!
All we get to see is how Kelsey and Isaac decide to go about things. In fact, it was a pretty klssing read for me with nothing too angsty or heavy to weigh the story down.
