Only one term paper and its only 4 pages. He tries to do his best to recite the history of the world to teach his small class. Understandable all the time. Dry sense of humor, thinks you should know everything the way he does, gives hard study q’s to do, tests are ridiculus. They’ll do the same for you. His downfall, is like a lot of Professors, he has taught so long, that he doesn’t really want to do it anymore, and has lost his enthusiasm.

More Professors from this school. Choosing the right professor isn’t easy!

This guy is something else, he is so smart but he manages to teach almost nothing for an entire semester. Hope you had a good semester.

There is a paper every other week and the books are mandatory. Help guide your fellow classmates by giving them the inside scoop! Once deleted, we can’t bring it back.

Are you sure you want to delete this note? I think that he is very bias in his teaching.

I think he should actually do something. Would highly NOT recommend. He was essentially a total disappointment. Blankinship knows his stuff, but is incredibly boring and gives out ridiculous study guides before tests. All issues he directed to the TA. Professor Blankinship is a very intelligent man, he is extremely well read and does not have to guess at anything when it comes to history or religion.

And he was completely not understanding of illness or weather related commuting issues. He’s also very non-descriptive and will make up his own terms for things instead of finding the actual term. I took a religions course and he expected us to know way too much specific information.

His class is not easy, but if you don’t act like an idiot in class, he’s an extremely kind and generous person, and will talk to you in his office for long periods of time 3 people found this useful 1 person did not find this useful report this rating. IF you pay attention, then you will understand a lot of things you may have never even thought of. The work load was for a higher level course and it was only to satisfy a core requirement. Reads directly from his printed notes without class participation.

Pretty sure he’s lost bpankinship with reality. Were these reviews helpful? He can be difficult because he expects the same thoroughness from your work as he uses in his teaching. No Would Take Again:
