Married – first book. The dynamic of the wallflowers was delightfully breezy, continuing the lighter tone of the series. How to love after so much loss? Good until the ending see closure section happpened. I need something to make it slippery. When the mission goes wrong, it will take all of Garrett’s skill and courage to save him.

It Happened One Autumn follows the second Wallflower, the bold and shockingly opinionated Lillian Bowmanwhose crude manners, American origins and nouveau riche status complicate her attempts to find a noble husband in English society. And yes, she was frustrating and illogical with her refusal to marry Marcus despite of being thoroughly shagged by him.

This book is another great addition to the highly entertaining wish-fulfilment romance that is the Wallflower series. Would I recommend it?
