Key methods are thrown out list-like in places, with no obvious pointers to how or where they are to be implemented. Its not so much an Apple thing like what delegate methods do I have to implement when adhering to such-and-such protocol but this is his program’s flow.

However, they’ve hillwgass super slow to keep up to date. It’d be nice if they went over the other configuration options or showed on-screen examples.

LightSpeed stores its data in OpenBase. However, later, as I learned the platform, I came back to this book periodically, to see how it treated some topics. He also covers the Objective-C language and the major design patterns of Cocoa. The answer is… both. See all reviews. Great question – ;rogramming think it comes with experience and working with all the different types of classes and UI Controls. I read the first edition, and IMHO just because he has hillgass programming for Cocoa since NextStep does not make him a good or interesting author.

These are really the prerequisites to picking up this book. I started Big Nerd Ranch because I thought it could be taken to another level — expert instructors, relevant materials, great settings. Books by Aaron Hillegass. When I released PagePacker a week proframming, I thought it might be handy for a few people. I would also recommend this book to iPhone developers new to Coxoa.
