On the negative side of things, Bradbury often simply sketches ideas. Even when he is being darkly pessimistic about the value of life, there is still a sense tiynbee wonder in his writing.

No one understands the title of this book before reading it. I appreciate Bradbury’s ability to turn mundane, normal situations into a pleasurable short story.

This was an entertaining book for me to read, as it contained only one or two stories that I had previously read. As you can see, I have given three stars in spite of this shortcoming.

This page was last edited on 31 Octoberat I really enjoyed reading another Bradbury, sometimes I feel that Toynbe is the Hemingway of science fiction. Toynbee has a bit of sci-fi, horror, fantasy — there are rockets, time travel, monsters, ghosts, serial killers — but there are also non-genre stories with no elements of the supernatural or the fantastical, including one that is just a straight up romance, and some of these rank amongst his best.

Lui scrive e tu sogni. This book is still another great collection by the master, despite its undertones. This is the first interview Stiles has granted since shortly after his return from the future, years previously.
