Always blown away by Chogyam Trungpa’s writing. My view is that one is either a Crazy Wisdom practitioner or not, it is in your nature qisdom not, and even to attempt to cultivate it is a bit ridiculous.

But there is a loving quality to it as well. Crazy Wisdom also ties in beautifully with the “come naked to the moment” ethos as we are literally deciding in that moment what it is we really feel like doing. There is just spiritual energy going on that is real dynamite.

No trivia or quizzes yet. This is a very advanced book dealing with advanced teachings so I was lost for a lot of it but had enough exposure that it sort of tickled parts of my brain. In the classical world, the phenomenon of “love at first sight” was understood within the context of a more general conception of dzogcehn love, a kind of madness or, as the Greeks put it, theia mania “madness from the gods”.
