Craigg out this link to find more info. He didn’t come right out and say th I really loved most of this book. The Bible prescribes a life of weirdness beyond the norms of this world. Pastor Groeschel’s argument is that Christians should be different from unbelievers, and that compared to them, the normal peoplewe should appear “weird”. I’m glad I finally pulled this off the shelf.

The only chapter where he can really claim to be swimming upstream, culturally, is the chapter on premarital sex. That is the biblical word for set apart and special and could aptly be applied to most of the material. Weird by Craig Groeschel.


Pastor Craig does a wonderful job teaching how happy you can be when you become weird. Two of my least favorite things. This author came across as judgmental and privileged. Groeschel goes on to talk about money. Sex connects welrd fuses people together. Normal people are stressed, overwhelmed, and exhausted.

In the last section, Groeschel addresses ‘values. Again, all well and good, but why call this section values.

I read this book one chapter a day and it totally changed my outlook on things that I could be doing different for me and my family. There was also a gross ” Groeschel makes the argument that in order to truly live the Christian life you must forfeit living a “normal” life. It is a period of civil war.

The weirdness of the gospel is that Christ and his Kingdom calls every other kingdom into question even America. This book tackles real life problems, and it handles them based on what the Bible teaches.

He also hosts the Craig Groeschel Leadership Podcast as a practical tool to spark new ideas and prompt innovative thinking in leaders at every level within any organization. It covers a wide range of topics all related to the subject of what it means to live as a true Christian. It did not shy away fro The book started with a question that the author asked himself and challenged his readers to ask the same. Really felt comforted that I am not the only struggling through these things!
