Reading is actually a far more complicated skill than most people believe. You can paste any text you wish and then adjust the controls, including the overall speed, font size, how many words you want to see at a time. I need to practice the excercises in the first readding of the book for awhile before I move on to the rest of the book. I embraced the book fully, deciding to always pete its instructions and do all exercises to the best of my ability. Watch anyone’s eyes closely who is reading and you’ll see that this is the case.

Thank you Peter Kump! With all that being said, I wouldn’t say I agree with everything the author argues. Mar 16, Amy Hardison rated it it was amazing. As of this week, I will be going through this book again and further improve my reading speed! That said, I would say Summary: I still believe strongly that these two techniques are less about techniques and more that they are precursors to speed reading. This book is not just about reading fast moving eyes quickly, etc.
Speed reading would ruin it for me, wouldn’t it? The book, and the method, is predicated on the idea that we don’t have to read everything at the same level of depth.

I would highly recommend it to everyone who’s looking to become more productive. I feel that my comprehension has suffered a little. For me, speed reading is like speed eating. So I think it’s good. I could have read three times as many books over those years, and it would have been an enormous help in grad school. I read and did the exercises from this book a few years ago and my reading speed more than doubled.

Just an effort to go faster and stay focused. I used Spreeder during law school to help me quickly read through cases.

What I came to discover, though, is that I petter want to read fast. I don’t want to learn how to eat my meal in 30 seconds because I LOVE food and I don’t want to miss the nuances of flavor, even if it means missing out on other foods. Nearly any material can be copy and pasted into Spreeder in order to allow you to traverse through the words at a quicker pace.
