Many pages are devoted to the philosophical monologue of the main character about the meaning of life, death, and pain. Sorry – ‘Go for it’. But the religious theory broached near the bltaty is such a magnificent and hilariously logical burst of creativity that the novel might have something worthy of serious consideration after all. This is a fantastic read with an eloquent writing style and deep philosophical discussions.
This book is not scary, not terrifying and didn’t really make much sense.

Siblings are cruel like that and my brother? I think this book was pretty neat, but even if it had sucked, it’d still have 5-star detective Kinderman. Legion is a sequel of sorts to William Peter Blatty’s most famous novel, the Exorcist. The book doesn’t hold back on the violence level seen after the fact. It has some terrifying scenes, including a jaw-dropping hallway clip that I still remember vividly. From the author of The Exorcist — Legiona classic tale of horror, is back in print!
But it’s great that we can establish that by ourselves, thanks to the good folks who assembled the director’s cut from whatever crude material they could get their hands on. William Peter Blatty ‘Legion’ Review
I guess such a topic isn’t for everyone, but you can enjoy both The Exorcist and Legion even if that’s not your style. This supernatural murder mystery starts strong, but Blatty seems to rush his way through the end.
Bleak and grim, it was easy to lose myself in the story. He kept up his friendship with a priest who was a close friend of Damien Karras and who the lieutenant walked off with when that blatt closed its horrors. Legion isn’t really ‘high art’, but it’s well written, leegion, and cerebral. A neurologist who can no longer bear the pain life inflicts on its victims? The movie, however, is still amazing, the second best movie in the series.
