Thought the author only gave the barest of hints of what all likely would have happened to a woman in her place, I applauded her strength of character and convictions which enabled her to survive such horrors. I added this book to ptoctor TBR more than a year ago, when I saw it recommended in a book group using keywords like emotional, angsty, unique, etc. Her sister is Penelope Williamson.
